New Button
|
The New
button creates a new untitled document.
You can also create files based on
templates in the New pane. See below.
|

New Pane
|
Templates are mostly empty documents with
layout and formatting you use often. Click the New pane to
select from the templates.
|
|
Use templates for
common document types:

Create Template
With the Save Document dialog, templates are
made in the New pane by:

Enter a document name.

Check the 'Save as a Template..' checkbox.

Click the folders drop-down to select desired folder.

Click the 'Save' button in the dialog box.

Delete Template
Delete a template by exploring to the file in the
templates folder (see Exploring topic at right).
The current date will replace an inserted date in
documents created from templates.

Click on the save button to save the current
document.
|
|
|
To save to a different name or folder, click
the Save As.. drop-down arrow.
The Save Document dialog box appears:

Enter a document name.

Clicking the folders drop-down to select desired
folder.

Click the 'Save' button in the dialog box.
Tip: Use the
standard page names for easier web page design.

Close
Button
|
Click the 'close' button at the right. You will be
prompted to:
-
Save. Saves all changes and adds a Track Changes record for that
document.
-
Discard changes
since the last time you saved.
-
Cancel and return to the
document.
-
Just Close will keep the
auto saved version that saved moments ago. This closes
the editor window for that document without
contacting the server. This is useful when you have
disconnected from the Internet and simply wish to close
the browser.

Documents, templates and pictures can be organized into folders.
Each pane has a folders drop-down at the top.

Click the down arrow to display the folders
drop-down:

To view
the saved files for any folder, select the folder using
the folder drop-down as shown above...
|

Scroll to the bottom of
the file listing for that folder and select the explore folder
(FTP) link...
|

After entering your
password, an FTP window will appear showing the contents of
that folder.

Click
explore files (FTP) at the bottom of the
files pane to browse, rename, delete, upload, or download
files.

Enter your password
into the dialog box. An FTP window appears showing your
account's folders:

|
Documents shown in the Documents
pane.

docs/pics
|
In the docs folder is a pics folder
containing the pictures shown in the Pictures pane.

publish
|
Published documents.
|

templates
|
Template files shown in the New
pane.
|
Due to IE
limitations, you cannot move or copy files directly
from folder to folder within the FTP windows. Instead,
copy files to your hard disk, then copy from your hard disk to
another folder within the FTP window.
